v0 turns prompts and screenshots into React + Tailwind UI that looks like it belongs in a modern Next or TanStack app. Iteration is the point: chat the layout, copy the component, keep going. It is outstanding for landing pages, dashboards, and shadcn-shaped interfaces. It is weaker at novel visual identity and at wiring real backend logic. Treat the output as a senior-junior pair that scaffolds, not as a finished product. For front-end spikes, it is one of the fastest tools we ran.
